Eligible Premium Amount
(Tax Law)
The portion of an individual�s premium to which the HCTC will match the 65% tax credit. The eligible premium amount does not include excepted premium amounts, which are premiums paid for health plan benefits such as vision and dental benefits except when your health plan includes them as a comprehensive benefit in your medical premium.
